A few days ago, DJ Christopher Ewing had me as a guest on his show “The Radio Cafe” on WDVD 96.3 FM. You can check out the show here (Show #37, the interview starts around the 11 minute mark). It was a lot of fun…got to sign the wall at the station, meet the rest of the DJs/employees and all of that good ish that artists get to do! While on the site, please be sure to scroll to the bottom and vote for “Ice Cream”! It is currently the #2 most requested song!
Also, on Saturday, I spoke at an event at Wayne County Community College to inspire youths to follow their dreams and find their true purpose. I had a wonderful time. Everyone knows I love being behind a mic, no matter what the occasion. It was very humbling and fulfilling to be called an “inspirer” and I look forward to speaking at similar events in the near future. (I’m trying to get a video of my speech so I can post it on here!)

Reason #13298743 why I think Twitter is so interesting and exciting:Last night, I was listening to a catalog of music mixed/engineered by one of my favorite mixers in the industry, Incredible Lago. I’ve always been a fan of her style and work. I randomly tweeted, shouting out her talent:

She RT’d me (retweeted, or reposted my tweet for those that aren’t down with twitter lingo) and added, “Thank u! xoxo”
Such a great way to interact with fans and inspirational people! It’s a cool feeling to hear back from people you look up to in the industry…
Just wanted to say a quick thanks to everyone who came out on Sunday to support my performance at the Stars and Stripes festival! Despite the heat, it was a great show and everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves! I will have footage up on my Youtube channel in the next few days.
Also, last night I sang the national anthem at my first Detroit Tigers baseball game vs. the Baltimore Orioles. It was lots of fun and the Tigers won…always love being a good luck charm for my hometown teams 
Hopefully I can snatch some footage and post it! It was nice to sing for another pro-team while the Pistons are in their offseason….that’s the one thing I dislike about the summer: no NBA!
Hope everyone had a nice 4th and set off lots of illegal fireworks! OK…don’t get me wrong, I love sparklers :)

Sigh…There’s one celebrity I get compared to a lot these days. I think it is the hair and the eyes. Still, as much as I hear, ”Why don’t you try out for American Idol?”…I also get, “Do you know who you look like? Miley Cyrus.” Being 7 years her senior, it is a little disturbing to be compared to someone that young. I’m told I will appreciate looking like jail-bait when I’m older. We’ll see.A friend just posted a blog entry about his buddies who look like certain celebs. Check it out and tell me your thoughts. Just don’t ask me to sing Party In The USA.
